Have you ever had the feeling??? I wish I caught that on tape!!! Ya, you have your cell phone and shit but you still can't take it out to capture those once in a life time moments. Well, You can't do that with a camera either...
Imagine how many more videos would be on World's most amazing videos or more pictures with the FAIL label on them if you could just capture images with your eye.
For the car enthusiast, Seeing an Audi A6 or a Rolls Royce on an Indian road ain't that common unless your neighbour has one, which would normally imply you had one too cause you live in rich-bum-land.
When you see that beautiful dazzling sunrise or sunset which you picture when you're dreaming about your happy place. You know you can't see it again, what with all the global warming going to kill our planet soon. You have the mental picture but even though our brains are more powerful than super computers, you can never see it as vividly unless you go into your subconcious.
The genuine delight on a young boy's face when he gets a wicket or scores a goal. You just can manufacture moments like that.
The smile on an old beggar's face when someone comes to help him. His genuine happiness that someone cares and that he is not alone in this miserable world.
We never remember the happy moments in life... Only the sad and dark images stay bright in our memories.
Accidents on the road... A youngling's life perishes just because a bus's brake malfunctions... His skull splattered all over the tarmac...
A puppy dying of starvation and insects feeding on its skin. You never forget something like that.
A cow run over cause it's natural grazing area is now a road. Or one of those cow catcher things outside buildings. And we say it's our sacred animal.
I'm sure the last 3 images that I spoke about seem much clearer in your heads than the first few. How this world has tuned us to remember the sad and never think too much about the little things I never understand.
I admire the urchins... They may not have a computer or even a television... But the rain brings such happiness to them that even an X-box 360 can't do to a rich boy who's parents are fighting.
That's why I wish I could capture those little moments of joy in some one else's life over some things so small that even i'd feel happy after a miserable day at college.
I wish my eyes were a camera... And I had a 500GB memory card the size of an ant in my ear...
